Revised Video promo MIDDLE AGE FEMALE VOICE ONLY
ZD1741046
We are a nonprofit 501, c, 3 foundation established by a married couple for were TV news anchors together. The former web video describing the foundation's work was way too long at 9:38. The narrator was our station's former female booth announcer. She projected warmth, but without any syrupy delivery, authority without being over bearing, etc. The voice model here might be the former Lynne Russell from CNN, but just a little bit crisper. NOT SEXY, but smooooooth, like 25 year old Scotch being poured into fine crystal. Remember, not sexy, because most listeners are middle age females, and sexy can turn them off.

Warmth and trustworthiness are two critical elements here.

The new video runs about 3:30, but all but about 1:20 is existing SOT.

VO: Whether you provide a lifeline to patients,

care for children,

rescue animals,

give scholarships to students,

sponsor the arts,

or serve your community in other ways…… it seems there is never enough funding to do all you could do.

VO: The American Fundraising Foundation can help you reach your fundraising goals. Its founders, Barbara and Wade West, worked for years as news anchors and reporters. They were so touched by stories they did about organizations like yours, they decided to leave television to raise funds for those in need.

VO: AmFund is a Guide Star platinum 501 c 3 nonprofit foundation. We partner with other qualified nonprofits to help sponsor more than 100 events each year, all across the country. Most of the unrestricted funds AmFund gives to its non-profit partners, come from items we bring to live and silent auctions.

(PRONOUNCED “FIVE OH ONE SEE THREE”)

VO: Winning bidders don’t feel like they have bought something; they feel liked they have WON something for their donation.

VO: The American Fundraising Foundation has its own travel specialists who help the winners plan their trips. No coupons, no “do it yourself” and no work for the organization.

VO: And when the travelers come back and brag about their fabulous adventures, other people want to be winning bidders at the next year’s event.

VO: Howard Baskin runs a sanctuary for endangered big cats. When AmFund’s board approved supporting Big Cat Rescue, the auction items drew more people to his event, and the bidding was higher than anyone expected.

VO: Some events are perfect for silent auction support, others for live auctions, like the time Barbara and Wade sold a teddy bear for 10 thousand dollars .

VO: Basketball superstar, Dwayne Wade, liked the auction so much, he wanted Mr. West to negotiate his next contract with the team!

VO: AmFund works with you before the event, choosing items for the live or silent auction to fit your organization's needs.

VO: But AmFund can't help everyone. As a 501 c 3, it can only help a limited number of organizations each year. If the people who depend on you, the animals you rescue, or the cause you support could use additional funds, speak with an AmFund Development Director about possible sponsorship for your organization.
