Product Training Webinar ZD1736097
We would like to complete this VO ASAP, and close out this project by year end. Therefore we want someone who can do a great read without revisions the first go. So please read the whole script that we supplied below. This will help us to determine your whole range and how committed you are to doing this work. This is a webinar on our specialty coatings. The audience will be paint sales reps and contractors. We want a voice who can sound approachable, informative and friendly - not snarky or opinionated, not corporate. Think conversational in a hardware store, like a manager explaining product to his staff. Sound like a knowledgeable authority in the field of specialty paints (without being heavy handed) for both residential and industrial applications such as parking lots, fire retardants, cabinets, basements and walk-in freezers. If you can do a good job without a need for live reading oversights and revisions, we have additional similar projects down the road.

We also have our Fire Retardant Paint A fire retardant slows down flame spread and smoke density at a fire and helps prevent the substrate from catching on fire. Fire retardant paints do not have a time rating. It is not a fireproof paint. Fireproof paints are generally painted on structural or support material in a building that are actually fireproof and have hourly ratings. The way this product works is when it’s exposed to heat or flame, the coating itself intumesces to slow down the flame and actually insulates the substrate from the heat. It can be used commercially or residentially. It’s a latex product, however it is a little viscous in the can, so we recommend a high quality woven roller to avoid excess of orange peel. It dries to a matte finish. You can top coat fire retardant paints and still have a Class A fire rating with up to two coats of latex finish. For example, you could top coat it with Our Paint to get the durability of a semi-gloss finish. Intumescence will occur after the top coat is burned off. This is a demonstration where you’ll see a three-quarter inch piece of plywood painted with a conventional latex paint next to the Fire Retardant Paint exposed to a torch. This is a time lapse. The actual exposure was five minutes with the blow torch on it. As you can see, as soon as the torch hits the conventional paint, flame starts immediately. You can notice already that it’s already burned through the paint and is now down to the substrate. If you look at the Fire Retardant Paint on the right, you can see the coating itself is starting to foam up. As that foam expands, it actually insulates the substrate from not just the flames but from the heat as well. So, in five minutes you can already see the char on the one with conventional paint, and that the wood with Fire Retardant paint has actually been protected.
