This project is a highlight of an impressive social campaign we executed for a major sports football event. Think about the drama of the lights coming on at a football field and the sound of a crowd cheering. We want the tone to be dramatic, but friendly and upbeat. We’re looking for energy. Someone who can read the script like this project was the MOST successful project EVER. We’re bragging about ourselves here, so we’d like someone to read it as if they’re really impressive stats. Speaking of stats, emphasize them with confidence. Take a pause between “we think it’s safe to say fans loved seeing themselves at the game” and “Looking good.” When saying “Looking good….” we’ll be focusing in on a picture of someone. So say it like you’re talking to them and giving them a compliment. Or maybe even like you’d like to take them to dinner.” When saying “extremely stylish Orange Bowl cut”, please emphasize the word “extremely”.

We couldn’t let fans forget about their 2016 Capital One Orange Bowl experience. So we captured it forever with a high definition gigapixel photo where they could zoom in, tag themselves and share the moment. The site that housed the photo drew nearly 14.5 million in social reach, and with an average time of more than 12 minutes per visit, we think it’s safe to say fans loved seeing themselves at the game…. Looking good.

But we didn’t stop there. For the first time in the history of Capital One, we used Snapchat’s facial recognition technology to launch the hottest hair trend of the year. The Capital One Orange Bowl Snapchat lens allowed fans to give themselves an extremely stylish Orange Bowl cut. Even ESPN personality Danny Kanell shared his new do.
