Older Professorial Narrators Sought for eLearning
One of our major clients has indicated a need for older mature male and female voices to narrate the occasional eLearning text. By this, I don't mean Professor Darby, you know the teacher who droned on and on, and who we eventually fell asleep to in History class.I mean someone like Mrs Jones who had that mesmerizing, engaging and magical voice that made Biology sublime. If you are of the Baby Boomer Brigade (like me) and would like to submit a sample please do so and if you would kindly narrate one of the two paragraphs in the short script box below, that would be great.

Please do not apply if you are a younger actor creating an old voice or a younger person using a pitching app to make yourself sound older. This is not a good idea, as the scripts are often revised sometimes months later and you would need to copy exactly your previous narration, so just natural older voices please.

Last but not least, you will need to be able to record and edit your narration to a high industry standard. Many thanks to all who apply.

Script Details

As the fates of Britain and India became entwined in the early nineteenth century, Rammohun Roy [RAHM-MOHAN ROY] sailed to England. As the first prominent Indian to visit England, he was well-received by political and cultural leaders and, after his early death, was respectfully buried in English soil.
Today, how do you think most Indians remember Rammohun Roy [RAHM-MOHAN ROY], as positive force of change in India or as elitist, pro-British follower?

Migration not only changed where people were living, but it also proved that humans were capable of adapting to changing environments, using and developing technology, and planning for their futures and a better way of life. It seems then, that humans have always been on the move.
Can you think of modern-day examples of people on the move?
In what ways are the reasons today’s humans migrate to other regions, countries, or other parts of the world still the same as they were 40,000 years ago?
