Making Predictions

Story Beat 1: Antarctica is home to the planet’s largest single mass of ice. And a growing body of research raises concerns that this massive ice sheet is less stable than previously thought. If it melts, sea levels could rise to unprecedented levels by the end of the 21st century.

Story Beat 3: DeConto and Pollard’s simulation model considers both the effects of warming temperatures melting the ice from the surface, and warming ocean currents that creep up beneath ice shelves, melting them from below and creating instability in the ice shelf.

Story Beat 4: The physics of the ice structures also come into play. Melt water accumulating on the surface of the ice can drain through cracks and further destabilize the ice shelf, potentially setting off a chain reaction that would dump huge chunks of ice into the ocean
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
