Millennial Jobs Script
two 20-something females talking:

Female #1:
When you’re exploring career opportunities, there are some things we all want.

Female #2:
Like having a job where we can have a real impact and do something that helps make the world a better place.

Female #1:
I’d have to say that I want to work in an environment where there’s a sense of team, and where I can collaborate with like-minded people.

Female #2:
What about having the opportunity to learn and develop professionally?

Female #1:
Absolutely. That’s Important. I’d add that having a manager that I can talk to and learn from means a lot too. I have a lot of ideas and energy, and I want to grow and contribute.

Female #2:
I’d say we’re talking about a workplace culture where I could fit in.

Female #1:
I agree. And for providing my skills and energy, I expect to be rewarded with good pay and benefits.

Female #2:
Right again.

20-something female Vernon employee:

Female #3 (spokesperson):
Why not consider a career at Vernon Homes? Vernon is not a big corporate chain. It’s a mid-size senior living community in southern Vermont where you can make a difference.

I loved my grandparents. And in a lot of ways, serving the elders here gives me that same connection.

Everybody I work with is all about delivering quality, compassionate care. I like that. Doing what I do does have a positive impact.

When you work here, you interact with great people who care about the residents and about each other.

We get grateful notes from the residents’ families all the time. If you read a few, I’m sure you’d get a sense of the impact you could have here. You can touch people’s lives.

Vernon Homes receives quality awards year after year. That’s more proof of a culture that you can be proud to be a part of.

You can develop professionally here too. I was mentored by my supervisor for months. I also took college courses, and Vernon reimbursed the tuition. It feels great to keep growing.

The pay is highly competitive and I get a good benefits package. The sign-on bonuses are generous too -- up to $10,000 for registered nurses.

Do what I did. Get in touch to see if Vernon Homes is the right place for you.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
