You hack one of pop culture’s biggest events.
Mr. Robot infiltrated South by Southwest by taking over the Austin skyline with a 100 foot Ferris Wheel, inspired by the show’s iconic Coney Island setting.
The four-day activation turned an entire city block into the f-society hacker lair, immersing festival goers into the world of the show.
The installation had influencers and fans lining up around the block to join the revolution … with activations that included a customized socially enabled f-society photobooth, exclusive South by Southwest Mr. Robot tee shirts, and retro arcade games.
Not to mention a one of a kind ferris wheel ride high above Austin.
As day turned to night, over one thousand press, influencers, and consumers descended upon f-society headquarters for an epic End of the World party that rocked the festival.
Across the four days, the Ferris Wheel became a central focus at South by Southwest, dominating social feeds and headlines.
Generating a staggering 5,073,835 Total Social Impressions and 140,000,000 press impressions
From the first tee shirt to the last ferris wheel rider, USA’s Mr. Robot activation was the talk of SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST, raising the bar for experiential activations and igniting fan fervor with unprecedented anticipation for the show’s Season 2 return.
