Script Details

NOTE: Please read a sample paragraph and submit. We will be hiring and turning around quickly so please audition only if you can record and deliver by Wednesday November 23rd, and at latest, Friday November 25th. This is a read like a Ken Burns documentary.

Elizabeth Hudson Wilde. Born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, November 24th, 1946. She was raised by John Wilde and Alice Neihart (rhymes with Die - Heart) in the suburbs of this beautifully verdant northern state. During the winter, she skied, and during the summer time she flourished in outdoor activities, such as hiking and camping. Here, she performed skits, sang songs and water skied.

Upon graduation from high school, she was accepted into the prestigious Wellesely College in Boston, Massachusetts, where she got a degree in Art History. She graduated in 1968 and her life was just beginning. Bands, such as The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix were popular and the festival glorifying "The Summer of Love", Woodstock took place. Then, she moved west to Arizona where she met Chuck Berkenkamp. After his brilliant, yet tense proposal with a diamond ring in an ice cream dish, they were married and had three wonderful children; her pride an joy.

Given their closeness in age, never was there a dull moment. Baby sitters would file through, claiming an inability to manage these three rabelrousers. One story reveals when the kids were practicing fireman and filled her bedroom with water. Another time, they climbed a wall by climbing on each others shoulders. A few years later, they were in school and doing very well.

She was a stock broker at Morgan Stanley Dean Whitter and also a copier sales woman with Xerox. And, oh boy, she will not give up. It took her 7 times to call into this company before she was offered a 1st interview. Relentless she was, and when they met her, the job was hers. And through a very difficult time, she battled, and beat cancer. She's one tough S.O.B.!

While we miss our father dearly, since Tom has come into Liz’s life the light in her eyes has never shined brighter! Tom and Liz love spending time with their wonderful dogs, Kallie and Branch, and will forever share their love of the angel Asta. Everyone loves Tom and Liz and while they wish they could see them more, they get to follow their world travels on facebook, and that's pretty cool too.

Liz is well liked by close colleagues, new acquaintences, and old friends. No matter the circumstance, when talking with her a smile is always yielded. Naturally, she is well liked.

Her friends span the globe, from Kanute and Kirsten to Bill and Gail Ivey, to Ellen Harris and Wendy Jedakin. Many friends and family will forever be missed by Liz including Ruthie, and of course her parents John and Alice, who met at Glacier National Park, one of Liz's old stomping grounds.

In fact here are a couple friends who would like to say hello!

And that’s not all Liz! There’s more!

Happy Birthday Liz.

And many more!
