What’s the secret recipe at Coca-Cola? It’s our people. We know that the business is dynamic and your workload fluctuates. Sometimes you need Contingent Labor to augment your current staff OR get specialized skills for a short period of time.
VO:
That’s when you need to turn to COKEFLEX.
COKEFLEX is the official program for all Contingent Worker Staff Augmentation engagements in North American locations.
VO: But let’s take a step back. For most of you, “Contingent Worker” is a new term. Over the years, we’ve had several names for contingent workers – like non-company resource, non-employee worker or NEW, staff augmentation, contractors, consultants…..(trail off)
VO: We worked across teams globally and aligned on the term “Contingent Worker” to refer to any individual providing services to the company who are given access to any of our facilities OR systems AND are NOT an employee.
VO: The Coca-Cola Company is making some changes in how we engage, onboard and manage contingent workers. The changes being introduced will make it easier for you while also ensuring compliance, security and consistency. You can find all of the policies, guidelines and definitions on Coca-Cola Connect. Just search for “Contingent Workers” or find it directly under “Purchasing and Travel”.
VO: If you need temporary labor resources and you have a question about which type of worker you’ll be engaging, just use this interactive decision tree guide on Coca-Cola Connect. Simply click “Play the Game”.
VO: The decision tree will guide you to the appropriate next steps for your situation. If the game indicates you need to engage a Contingent Worker as Staff Augmentation, then you’ll need to use the CokeFlex Program and its Program Management office to start the process.
VO:
The COKEFLEX program, facilitates requisitions for Contingent Workers, allows managers to review and select candidates, and then continue to use it for all time management, approvals and payroll needs.
VO:
You can Access CokeFlex directly from Connect and search the job profiles to start a requisition
OR You can work with a CokeFlex program specialist to customize your requisition for your talent needs and indicate how much, if any, staffing supplier interaction you’d like.
VO:
The CokeFlex PMO is here to answer your questions and help make things easier! They can help you source the talent you need, for a wide range of skill types.
VO: But if you’ve already identified the specific person you’d like to engage, they’ll help you with the next steps including “payroll set up” and “timesheet submissions” or even more complicated requirements like vetting independent contractors to meet US Tax Worker Classification laws.
