Project Main Details

Lions Meadows of Hope
ZD1481863
The Lions Meadows of Hope is a community of homes, on several hundred acres of land to form a campus, for foster children and their parents. We are a non-profit organization and part of the Lions Club of Oklahoma. This project is an animated storytelling of our history (not that of the club), where we are now, and where we plan to be in the future. Over the years, the foster care system has gone through many changes, not always for the best. This campus solution has been proven effective in supporting families, and ultimately, promoting real healing in the lives of foster children.

This video will be used for fundraising to grow the campus from five homes into ten, add a community center multi-purpose building, and other potential campus improvements. Financial donors are the main target audience. The video will also serve as an informational tool to other Lions Clubs during meetings as well as to the general public. It will primarily be used online, on our website (www.lionsmoh.org) and other social media like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to promote donation giving.

Mr. Freeman, I wrote the copy with your in mind, so I hope you want to do this project.

The Lions Meadows of Hope began in 1940 as the IOA Ranch just south of Perkins, Oklahoma.
With several hundred acres of land and one house, the hope was that children could live and experience the love of a family – likely for the first time in their lives.
