LED HEADLIGHTS DEER

This is a radio for an award show. These radio ads are the driver’s thoughts said aloud, but it’s really a conversation they are having to themselves. They need to sound natural. Not overly acted. They see an animal in the road, but have so much time to decide that they go off on a tangent. They are speaking with their internal voice so is a very intimate conversation with them self.

FEMALE VO: Whoa look, it can’t be a…

yea it is. It’s a deer.

Okay, calm down. What a beast!

Wonder what it weighs, 1,000 pounds?

That’s half a ton of wild right there.

Yeah, they’re very timid and super cute and just like Rudolph...

but cross one of these on a bad hair day and you won’t live to talk about.

And those antlers!

An impressive lethal weapon in comparison to its tiny head.

Kind of like those meatheads at the gym: the bigger the muscles, the smaller the brain.

Well, let’s go ahead and start slowing down little by little, we avoid him easily… that’s it…

See ‘ya later Rudolph.
