Welcome to the Time Machine Laser Series. In this video, we are going to introduce you to the FDA cleared Time Machine Infrared Laser. Set up, safety and using the video will be explained.
1—Show case on table.
VO: Welcome to the Time Machine Laser Series.
In this video, we are going to introduce you to the FDA cleared Time Machine Infrared Laser. You will see how easy it is to set up and operate.
2—Place the case flat with the logo facing up.
VO: Place the case on a flat surface with the logo facing up.
3—Close-up of opening latches.
VO: To open the case, press down on the inner tab and raise the bottom latch. Now, pull back the top claw and then open.
4—Show interior with components
VO: The Time Machine Laser includes safety goggles, two rechargeable batteries and a battery charger.
5—Remove The charger and batteries
VO: To charge the batteries, simply plug the power cord into the charger and then into an outlet. Carefully insert the batteries matching the positive and negative terminals. Placing them incorrectly can damage the charger. The charger light will change from red to green when the batteries are fully charged.
6—Open battery door and insert batteries and close cover.
VO: To open the battery compartment, gently press down and then pull back the top tab of the battery door. Carefully insert the batteries matching the positive and negative terminals. To close, slide the cover into the bottom groove and then snap the top back into place. The laser is now ready to use.
7—Show two graphics (danger sign and manual cover) and cut to close-up
of the technician and patient putting on goggles.
VO: To begin treatment, enter a room designated for laser use. The doctor and patient must both wear protective goggles before the laser is turned on.
Please review the manual for all protocols and safety procedures.
8— Close-up of laser / tail switch/ LCD and buttons and patient being treated on wrist.
VO: Operating the laser.
Remove the top rubber cap covering the laser portal.
Press on tail switch to turn the unit on and the LCD screen will illuminate.
Press the timer button
Press the set timer button to set the treatment time in 30 second increments.
Press the start button to begin treatment.
Press the stop button to end treatment.
Press the tail switch to shut off the power and replace the top rubber cap.
To begin a treatment, place the laser about a one half inch over the area being treated and rotate the laser in a slow circular movement. The patent will feel no more than a little warmth.
All operators must be fully trained for safety and treatment protocols.
The laser will stop when the timer expires. When the treatment is completed, place the laser and all components back in the case.
