Project Main Details

Landscape APP
This recording will be used as an audio track on a mobile app. We are a museum located on 5.5 acres in Pittsburgh and this app will be used to identify buildings and plants on site. We will also be showing historic images with historic text written by the Frick family. The app has a lifespan of 3 years and will be used by visitors to the site.
We are looking for a friendly, engaging voice (not authoritative). The text should entertain, without being silly.

Script Details

As a teenager, Childs Frick was captain of a group of local boys who called themselves the Clayton Cadets. The Cadets had uniforms and performed drilling and marching exercises in the neighborhood. They held an annual summer party to help them buy equipment and go on camping trips. These lawn fetes were a highlight of the summer, and according to the Pittsburgh Press, May 14 1899: “…many attractive features will be provided for the entertainment of the guests. These will include a magician, a palmist, a donkey …, a flower booth, a candy booth, a cake booth, a lemonade booth, … and one or more lotteries for something worth possessing, and last of all ice cream and strawberries.”
Pittsburgh Press, May 14, 1899
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
