Project Main Details

James Bowie High School WinterGuard Project
ZD1920256
This project is for a High School World Class Winter Guard. We are looking for a middle to older aged male with a British accent to record voiceovers for a production we are doing on campus.

This will be performed at several local competitions and national world championships.

The poem is by "Intimations on Immortality" by William Wordsworth, we would like the reader to make some excerpts of this poem that we will then lay on top of music. We would like it to the in the vain of the version that is performed on Penny Dreadful. This is the link to that reading and we love the same time signature o the speaker. We love is tone and inflection.

N/A
There was a time when meadow, grove, and stream,
The earth, and every common sight,
To me did seem
Apparelled in celestial light,
The glory and the freshness of a dream.
It is not now as it hath been of yore;—
Turn wheresoe'er I may,
By night or day.
The things which I have seen I now can see no more.

See, at his feet, some little plan or chart,
Some fragment from his dream of human life,
Shaped by himself with newly-learn{e}d art

—But there's a Tree, of many, one,
A single field which I have looked upon,
Both of them speak of something that is gone;
The Pansy at my feet
Doth the same tale repeat:
Whither is fled the visionary gleam?
Where is it now, the glory and the dream?

Thanks to the human heart by which we live,
Thanks to its tenderness, its joys, and fears,
To me the meanest flower that blows can give
Thoughts that do often lie too deep for tears.

Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting:
The Soul that rises with us, our life's Star,
Hath had elsewhere its setting,
And cometh from afar:
