Project Main Details

Improving Public Trust in the Justice System
ZD1674209
We are a non-profit justice reform agency, working with an animator to develop a two-minute video for a justice system audience (judges, attorneys, bailiffs, etc.). The video will outline a research-based strategy to improve public trust and confidence - and hopefully - inspire them to pursue additional training and resources. The need for this discussion is important now more than ever.

Adding music on your end is not required, but is a perk. We have minimal in-house capacity for that.

This video will be shared with thousands of justice system professionals in our initial publicity push - and added to our YouTube page.

Tens of thousands of people come through our justice system each day. Whether it’s traffic court, housing court, or criminal court, these places can seem like factories processing cases – and people – like widgets.
But what if these courts took a different approach? What if they focused on making each court appearance a positive one that built trust, rather than eroded it?
Research has documented that how people are treated is important – even more important than the outcome of their case. This idea is called “procedural justice.”
