-Let's talk about Client Based Record Management - or CBRM for short. In this video, you will learn how CBRM can benefit your NGO and improve the service you provide to clients. -Client Based Record Management puts People Living with HIV at the center of how we manage paper records. Good Client Based Record Management is achieved by implementing three key components. -The first component is a Unique Identification Code, or UIC. A UIC is issued for every client that the Peer Navigator sees and is based on unchangeable personal information about the client, instead of random numbers and letters. -It is used to identify the client every time they come into contact with a peer navigator. -The second component is a unique Client Record folder, which consolidates, in one place, all information about a client and the services he or she has received. -The third component is Smart Filing, which uses different filing locations to store Client Records depending on the next action to be taken to support the client’s care.
