Haverford 2 lower middle school female 2 scripts

This project is for the school's website. It is a non-union buyout--$200 per script. For this job, the female talent the agency selects will do both the lower school script and the middle school, for a total of $400. The client and someone from the school will be listening in and directing while you are recording, so hopefully there is a phone patch on your end or some way that we can hear clearly during the session. We will provide a conference call # to dial in to, and we'd like you to record clean files of the whole session and send them to me shortly after. Please record a custom demo of all or part of the scripts below.
The direction i received from the agency was motherly and soft, not sales-y and not professor-like.

LOWER SCHOOL SCRIPT:

We asked our youngest students who they look up to. (short answers here)

Inspiration is everywhere, if we open our eyes to see it.

And the eyes of a child are perhaps open widest of all. Open to see every possibility, every chance to perform some amazing feat or do something noble that others look upon with awe. We tell our children stories of figures real and mythical, and their dreams and play and drawings are larger than life.

At this, the beginning of childhood’s journey, The Haverford School takes young boys’ energy and imagination and begins to build something remarkable. Our extraordinary educators understand that boys learn differently, that they need to do and move and explore. And they understand that boys want to know why, and to know that what they do makes a difference.

So we give them real challenges to overcome that stretch them intellectually and creatively. We create sensory-rich lessons with movement and activity for more focused and engaged learning. We emphasize expressive language, reading and writing, fine motor development, and social and emotional intelligence.

Our educators also know that boys need people to look up to, and true purpose.

So we provide role models, ideals to strive for, and tangible ways to be a friend and to serve people far and wide.

Students begin the journey from remarkable boys to great men—and it doesn’t happen by chance. It happens at Haverford.


MIDDLE SCHOOL SCRIPT:

When we were young, we wanted to be epic. To reach the moon, break the records, achieve the glory.

But we had to learn that strength and power were not everything. We had to learn perseverance, honor, teamwork, scholarship, compassion, respect. We had to learn that staying true to who you are is the one thing that will enable you to achieve anything.

At The Haverford School, as young boys become young men, our extraordinary educators guide them through experiences intentionally designed to foster intellectual curiosity and ambition as well as lifetime values and cultural awareness. We actively engage students in everything from math and Latin to drama, sports, and service to encourage them to take risks, make mistakes, focus their energies, and embrace all they are.

Our students grow through a deep liberal arts curriculum. Studies in English, math, American and world history, science, modern and classical languages, art, theater, and music help them to build an academic foundation for the Upper School and life.

With teachers who challenge them and support them, who truly know them, and who have a passion and knowledge that boys respect, young men learn that many things can make one great. And that all of our journeys can inspire epics.
