Going For Goldeneye ZD3102994
Going For Goldeneye is a mockumentary following a small group of elite players of the classic N64 game Goldeneye as they prepare for the games 20th Anniversary. The narration i require is to set the tone of the project to make sure the audience is convinced this is a real documentary about real people. It is very important the delivery of the narration is done in a serious manner, with an air of authority. Please ensure you don't rush the delivery and check where the commas are for your pauses and full stops to take a second before carrying on.

August 25th 1997 was a date that changed gaming forever...
Rarewares Goldeneye 007 was released on the Nintendo 64 to little expectation...
Back then games based on movies were always cheap cash grabs, but Goldeneye broke the mould.
Critics raved about Goldeneye calling it the greatest multiplayer game of the day in a time when PC's dominated.
Goldeneyes creators Rareware cleaned up at the Baftas in 1998 winning best uk developer and best game.
8 million copies of Goldeneye were sold, meaning almost 1 in 3 N64 owners purchased the game, something which is unheard of in modern gaming.
Goldeneyes 4 player split screen multiplayer quickly became a fan favourite with copies of the game flying off the shelves & rabid fans competing to be the best, bragging in school yards & at the water cooler about who could was the greatest player.
Competitive console gaming had arrived in living rooms around the world.
November 1997. 10,000 gamers attend the first Goldeneye World Championships to witness Ethan 'The Golden Child' be crowned the games first ever champion, in the biggest gaming event of its time.
20 years later, the world may have moved on from Goldeneye, but a small group of dedicated players still compete at the highest level.
