Epic Signal Case Study VO
ZD1491007
In 2016, Mountain Dew Green Label merged its key verticals (sports, music, male lifestyle, etc) and launched the first-ever brand-led, creator-driven multi-channel network to support emerging film creators and generate new revenue opportunities for Mountain Dew. The MCN is meant to engage millennial consumers where they most often consume content. While a lot of brands work with influencers on many one-off projects, we wanted to cultivate deeper, mutually beneficial relations over time.

We’re submitting the Mountain Dew MCN work to several awards shows throughout the ‘16 Fall season. The closest award show submission deadline is for the Effies on 10/11 under their new Branded Content category. See the case study script for what an MCN is.

Communication Objectives:

We need a VO that demonstrates an energetic and youthful male vibe to help show off how innovative Epic Signal's work to create the first ever creator driven, brand-led multi channel network is.

In order to engage millennials consumers where they spend their time online - MTN Dew chose to invest in long term multi-year relationships with YouTube stars - launching the first ever, creator-driven, branded YouTube Multi Channel Network.

We decided to call it The MTN Dew Green Label MCN.

Launched in early 2016, the Green Label MCN works closely with top-tier YouTube creators across skateboarding, gaming, basketball, and lifestyle verticals. We signed on all-star talent such as:

Dominic (Dtrix) Sandoval - The most popular dancer on YouTuber with more than 4 million subscribers.

GRAYSON BOUCHER AKA The Professor - The largest basketball channel on YouTube.

As well as popular skateboarders Josh Katz and Nigel Alexander and a handful of others - bringing the combined total social reach of the MCN to over 15 million engaged millennial fans across social media.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
