Howdy, Ags. We all know what the 12th Man stands for, right? It means we’re always prepared to enter the game or to help out a fellow Aggie. The 12th Man is all about being ready if the occasion arises. There is the ͞I’m ready to play͟ kind of readiness. But, there is another kind, too. That’s what to do in case there is an emergency on campus. You need to know what to do in a fire, during severe weather, in case of campus violence, or during medical emergencies. Always dial 911 to summon emergency responders. If you are in danger or know someone who is, do not hesitate to call or text. But, there is more. You need to subscribe to Code Maroon. If an emergency occurs on campus, you will receive a text message. Critical information is as close as your cell phone. Subscribe to Code Maroon at codemaroon.tamu.edu.When you receive the Code Maroon message, visit emergency.tamu.edu to get more detailed information about the emergency and what actions you should take.
