This project is for a dental supply company that has a new ultrasonic bath for cleaning dental equipment. This video will be used in sales and training presentations and the target audience is dentists and hygienists. Our client is looking for a confident warm tone for the voice over.

Script Details

The risk of improper sterilization increases if instruments are not properly cleaned prior to autoclaving.
Ultrasonic cleaners rely on one or more transducers to generate ultrasonic energy. This ultrasonic activity causes tiny bubbles in the bath to implode, thereby “scrubbing” the instruments in the bath. If the transducers are not producing adequate energy then the cleaner may not clean your instruments properly.
Dentsply Sirona offers a simple Foil Test Kit to allow you to quickly determine if your cleaners’ transducers are working properly.
This widely used test involves inserting foil strips into a running ultrasonic cleaner. If the cleaner is functioning properly, the ultrasonic energy will penetrate the foil leaving holes or tears. If there is not enough energy due to an improperly working transducer, there may be pitting or wrinkles in the foil but few or no holes.
The test kit consists of two parts: three strips of tape and 6 strips of aluminum foil.
To run the test, first fill the cleaner with water to the max fill line.
Run the ultrasonic cleaner’s Degas cycle as directed by the manufacturer’s Instructions for Use.
Next take the three tape strips, remove the backing, and secure the tape across the bath near both ends of the bath, and affix the third strip across the middle. Make sure the tape strips overlap the end of the bath by at least one half of an inch.
