Case Study 
This is an internal case study for a production company. The case study details the VR experience we put together to sell a particular product and the success we had with the campaign. This was a global project with large-scale appeal across the country. This video will primarily be used as a sales tool.

Everyone hates ads.

Nobody hates James Harden.

Well, except this guy. And these guys aren’t too fond of him at the moment. But nobody else, for the most part generally speaking, hates James Harden.


So when Adidas asked us to launch Harden’s first ever signature shoe, we decided to do it in a first-ever sort of way.

By giving people who are going to buy Harden’s shoe something they couldn’t ignore, skip or mute: James Harden. And the only chance any of them would ever have to play him one-on-one.

We created a 360-degree virtual reality experience that gave thousands the ability to not just see if Harden’s shoe fits, but to size up Harden himself.

Using four pillars, each equipped with a vibration mechanism and two fans, haptic feedback let users experience his shoe and the wind as he passed them with signature cross-over. They could feel him pound past with his euro-step.

We marketed a product no one else could see outside this groundbreaking VR experience.

And deployed headsets to retailers all over the world— including China, Italy, France, and Greece.

Fans could experience what it is to not just “fear the beard,” but be near it.

Because when you buy James Harden’s shoe, you don’t really want the shoe, as much as you want Harden.
