Project Main Details
Seeking voice for a web video to promote an urban cycling event. You’ll voice the role of a neglected bicycle, who’s been sitting in a dusty old shed for years. He’s rugged, stoic and likes to reflect on the good old days.
Deep, weathered voice. Think Sam Elliott.
Please have a working home studio set up and ready to record (ISDN or Source Connect would be a bonus!). Budget is $300. Use is web buy-out. Video is 45-60 seconds long. 2017-07-11 18:48:13 GMT 2017-07-14 14:00:00 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) Yes (click here to learn more about ) Closed 30 2 0 direct invitation(s) have been sent by the voice seeker resulting in 0 audition(s) and/or proposal(s) so far. A ray of light shines in through a small, dirty window, cutting through the darkness. Camera pans, following the light and landing on an old bike; it’s black, covered in faded stickers, and completely coated in dust.
People used to eat my dust. Says so on one of these stickers.
Now, I eat dust—literally—
CUT to another angle.
I guess you could say I’ve had a good life.
In my prime, I was a hot commodity—stolen 5 times if I’m not mistaken.
A little rough around the edges, maybe, but well-built.
CUT to a side view of the bike, and pan across as attributes are mentioned. Simple hand-drawn animations (i.e. sunburst, outline, a few drops of oil) highlight the following details:
Shimano platform pedals. Vintage leather saddle. A well-oiled machine…
Oh, the things I’d do for a little oil right now…
