Anthem video for local arts program
ZD1608926
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This is a short anthem piece for a non-profit that supports various art initiatives in the city of Chattanooga. Our main character is a 10-12 year-old boy who is exploring the things that make Chattanooga a vibrant art community. It’s not all fancy galleries and symphonies. Art is everywhere in this city, and it is accessible to anyone thanks to Artsbuild and their community partners.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The project is designed to connect potential donors and those who already support Artsbuild with the childlike wonder that they had as kids. It’s meant to remind them that the arts can empower imagination and creativity that in turn, makes our community stronger.

TONE/FEELING
We're looking for a boy's voice. The tone for narration is curious and sincere. These aren’t just opinions for our main character, they are facts that need to be shared with everyone. It should have the tone of a conversation.

DELIVERY
The beginning should be curious and maybe even a little unsure. It should build to being more and more confident as our character experiences all of the amazing opportunities that the arts has to offer. When we reach the end, the narration should feel like there’s nothing to worry about. Everything is going to be okay. Pacing should be moderate. We want time for the words to resonate with the audience and carry a bit of weight. Changing sentence structure or wording slightly to feel more natural is okay, so long as the message remains the same.
