Project Main Details

Animated video series
Non-broadcast animated videos for the Internet for a major technology company. The video will be part of an animated series about young innovators called global problem solvers. Seeking multi-cultural voice over talent that can authentically portray various teenage voices (ages 10-16) in authentic accents for English dialogue. If talent can portray multiple characters/accents for male and female roles we can negotiate rate. Roughly 30 seconds of dialogue for each main character and potential for future voice over for other videos in series.

Adults welcome to apply for young roles if you can sound age appropriate. We will also need French speaking voice talent in the same accents. There is 1 older male part.

Here are the main roles (should be voices in pre-teen to teenage voices):
Putri, an Indian teen (Female)
Beela, a Jordanian teen (Female)
Cristina, a Peruvian teen (Female)
Satoshi, a Japanese teen (Male)
Adrien, a French teen (Male)
Kelile, a Malawi teen (Male)

Small roles (lower rate):
Girl 1 Malawi accent (only 2 lines of dialogue)
Girl 2 Malawi accent (only 1 line of dialogue)
Village Elder-older sounding voice-Malawi accent (only 3 short lines of dialogue)

Would need to submit short voice demo in appropriate accents to be considered.

Script Details

Please submit voice demo with the following dialogue for each character:

Putri (Female Indian Teen)
Like any job, solving the world's problems requires a certain kind of person. A seeker of the most difficult challenges. A master of innovation. One who cares deeply about the world. A producer of great ideas. My expertise is teambuilding. But can I get this group of extraordinary teens to work together?

Beela (Female Jordanian Teen)
There you go! This whole village is now connected to the Internet. (Pause) This whole well could use maintenance. (Pause) Something that will last, to serve the wells both now and when they need maintenance again.

Satoshi (Male Japanese Teen)
The Kid's Cafeteria provides meals to children who need them. This one is running low on supplies. (A delivery truck pulls up). There it is! I connected their refrigerators to the Internet to order deliveries when food runs low.

Adrien (French Male Teen)
The farmers I've spoken to say shorter rainy seasons and a terrible drought have made working wells a vital necessity in Malawi. Oh and something else: a farmhand said he saw girls from the village walking by the other day with empty water containers.

Kelile (Malawi Male Teen)
My team of Global Problem Solvers (say boldly) can fix the well. I promise we will figure out something. Let us first talk to local experts.

Cristina (Peruvian Female Teen)
(To a merchant, loudly over a band.) Haven't you heard? Local music draws customers. I've booked bands for you this whole month and now it's all over social media. (A wide shot reveals a line of people awaiting ice cream. The merchant is euphoric. Cristina answers her tablet.) Sounds great, I'll be right up! (She looks to the merchant.) Anybody up there want ice cream?

Girl 1 (Malawi Teen)
You know that it falls on the girls of the village to fetch water. When the well is broken we must journey to the nearest working well.

Girl 2 (Malawi Teen)
And for those of us who don't have jetpacks, that can take all day!

VILLAGE ELDER (Male Older-Malawi)
A technician used to check our well. We haven’t seen him for months. Now our pump is broken.
