Project Main Details
This is for a short audio program (60-90 seconds) that will play in a reconstructed slave quarters at a historic site as part of an exhibit about slavery and its legacy.
We are looking for voice talent with some acting experience as this needs to part of a believable scene in which a father helps his son learn to read from the Bible. The role of the father has 11 lines.
If interested, please provide a few takes of the two lines that are supplied.
In this imagined scene, a father is teaching his young son to read using the Bible (unlike many people who were enslaved, this couple were literate). It is nighttime and their voices are on the low side so they are not heard by others outside the slave cabin. 2017-04-08 13:59:39 GMT 2017-04-12 09:00:00 (GMT -05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) Yes (click here to learn more about ) Closed 8 2 3 direct invitation(s) have been sent by the voice seeker resulting in 1 audition(s) and/or proposal(s) so far.
