My Voice Experience

I began my voice career as a singer, serving as lead vocalist for the band Chuck on two albums recorded at major L.A.-area studios in the 1990s. I've worked in two professional recording studios, producing and engineering musical and spoken-word projects. I have worked as a print journalist for the past 10 years; my duties have included radio appearances and spoken narration for web video content. I have served as a pronouncer for two large regional satellite events for the Scripps National Spelling Bee. In college, I made recordings of textbooks for those with visual impairments and learning disabilities.

My Training

-Majored in English at Cal State University, San Bernardino (also studied music theory, guitar and journalism).

-Took voice and performance lessons from renowned L.A. voice teacher Sue Fink.
