Voice Description

I like to have fun when creating a voice. My voice can be compared to a Tenor, baritone and medium bass. I can perform the industrial type of voice and even the over dramatic sexy Barry White type voice to fun, quirky, nerdy, executive & high society type voices.

I've can also perform industrial and documentary, upscale.

My Home Base

Round Rock, Texas, United States

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I'm able to perform a variety of accents: Southern American, Australian, Russian, Urban American and many character voices with certain dialects.

Imitations include but not limited to: Roger from American dad, Krusty the Clown, Cleveland from Family Guy, Shaggy, Scooby Doo, Joe Swanson from Family Guy, Darth Vader, Yoda, Sean Connery, Tiger Woods and more.

My Voice Experience

My career in voice overs started at Cox Media in College Station, Texas. The voice producer heard my voice over the paging system and asked if I had done any voice acting. He extended me an opportunity.

I recorded my first voice commercial for the Lincoln Aviator that played on air in the Bryan/College station market within weeks of the offer. I recorded several more commercials including Trane Air conditioners, a Cajun restaurant, Medical announcements as well as fun pieces like an introduction for Sponge bob coming to town. All of which received air time while at Cox Media.

My Training

I've ben enrolled over the past three years and taking voice acting classes from Renee Beale.

Training includes: voice acting class at KD studio in Dallas, several public speaking classes through secular positions, speech classes in college. I have begun to record audio books for the Bob Bullock Texas State Library in Austin TX for the visually impaired.

My Studio Equipment

I currently have a studio setup in my home for voice recording. I am using a Shure Beta 87a Mic with Audacity software for Windows connected to a Focusrite Scarlet 2i4

Additional Skills

Having listened to many technical demos and heard numerous presentations for technical products I have a grasp on the industrial aspect of voice overs.

I play the piano, guitar and enjoy signing with friends.

As I mentioned, I have four children, so there is no shortage of character references in my home. Hearing and seeing such a variety of characters only adds to my abilities daily.
