- Experience, training, and equipmentAfter my SuchAVoice master class with Rob Sciglimpaglia I undertook a period of mentoring with Michael Turnbull, long-time V/O artist and coach. I can perform medical, corporate and financial reads as well as narratives. My ongoing V/O training consists of mentoring with Michael Turnbull of SuchAVoice But my training actually began in childhood with a mother who was very particular about diction. I have a degree from the Manhattan School of Music. I've played piano and violin, composed music and written books and articles. I savor words and read on many subjects in English and German, so I'm not easily fazed. I run Cubase on my PC. My mic is a Rode NTG-2 directional condenser mic. My training as a classical musician taught me how to perform. After one of my books was published I did talk show interviews. I enjoy language and languages and can make a good stab at French, Spanish and German words and phrases.
