My most recent voice over was for a college master's program for technology start ups. It required editing of copy, and syncing my delivery to fit the video clips. I was able to deliver the finished product in a short turnaround and tailor my performance to the needs of the client. I have also done ads for education institutions abroad and various small businesses. As a child, I performed in jingles with a children's choir and developed a sensitivity to studio voice work. As a singer, I have released two albums that have garnered worldwide airplay. I decided to delve more deeply into voice over work after receiving positive responses to radio interviews given as part of the publicity for an album release. I recorded for radio and tv commercials as a child and am now returning to that arena because I love using my voice to sing and speak.
I have extensive vocal training in music, with a specialty in opera and jazz. I also have a B.A. in English and a law degree (J.D.), and I am able to provide significant value to projects through my knowledge of language and my professional background. My training for voice overs came mostly through on-the-job learning, and I have learned how to take clients' instruction well and deliver the performance that best suits their needs.
I do not possess my own equipment at this time, but do work with several engineers, who offer a range of budgets, as the project dictates. I make the necessary arrangements on my end, depending on the budget of the clients.
