My Voice Experience

I have done some acting for videos, and I have been involved in many audio recording projects (music/singing), but I have minimal experience voice acting. I was involved in a video project entitled 'Tea in Space.' One of my voice over roles was that of the female respondent at the command center who desperately pleas for the space traveling hero to listen, because she has very important information. She is very serious and sounds as if she were going to issue a warning of danger. Then the desperation in her voice changes dramatically as she confesses her love for the hero and pleads with him to come home.
My other character was that of the loving, supportive, sick with worry, naive mother of the hero. Her tone begins to change as well, as she tries to explain that she needs her son to come home, and at times she is confused by her son's remarks.
I feel that this sole project is a testament to my range as a voice actor.

My Training

I have been a performer for 6 years. I've played on stage with various bands, often as the front man.
I have recorded music in the studio, including instrumentation and vocals.
I have also acted in a few movies. 'Dinner Party Surprise,''Tea in Space,''Club Lyfestile Documentary.'
I often work in promotions. I have extensive experience presenting products, or awarding prizes at events.

My Studio Equipment

I have Ableton Live, an audio engineering application. I also use an MS Audio vocal microphone.

Additional Skills

I have worked for the Walnut Street Theater in ticket sales, and for a survey research firm. These were both phone jobs, and they hire people based on the type of voice they have and their ability to read a script verbatim and sound natural. In both positions, I was one of the most productive employees, and that of course has to do with my voice, the way I can manipulate it, and the naturalness and flow of the words coming out of my mouth.
