My Voice Experience

I performed a multitude of voice over work while working for WDAU-TV/WGBI-Radio in Scranton, Pennsylvania from 1968 to 1993 and did live news, weather and sports programs and disc jockey shows. Created commercials for local and national radio and tv clients as needed.
For a number of years I narrated industrial training videos for Procter and Gamble, Mehoopany, Pennsylvania (a large paper manufacturing plant) and some of those narrations were used in other plants worldwide by Procter and Gamble. Also produced and narrated infomercials for tatooing and sports shows. I currently do radio commercial voice overs for the radio stations I work with and other radio stations around the country.

My Training

My broadcasting career began in 1962 as a youngster reading text on a radio religious show. That interest continued in various capacities part-time until I began a full time career in radio announcing in 1966. Along with radio I became involved in television announcing and news, weather, and sports and commercial production in 1968. From 1993 to approximately 2003 I also ran my own video business (wedding videos, infomercials, show productions, and industrial video production including narrations)I remained in broadcasting until 1997 when I started working for a manufacturing facility. In 2011 I returned to radio and am currently voice tracking
"oldies" and "country music" radio shows which run a total of 7 days a week.

My Studio Equipment

Currently I use a Beringer XENYX-802 CONSOLE, MXL-V63M microphone and "Cool Edit Pro" 2.0 software in a Dell Latitude D630 laptop computer for audio work and do my radio shows using "Internet Voice Tracker Version 11.1.400" and "Symantec pcAnwyhere" and "Dropbox" and "Logmein" software on the Dell Latitude D630 laptop.
