My Voice Experience

It all started with a phone call.

A delightful architecture student, Catherine Griffiths, needed a voice for a film she was making as part of her Masters presentation and I happily volunteered. We spent a long evening in a tiny studio with her hand-held recorder and I worked on narration, as well as filling gaps in her field recording where an interviewees original words were drowned in background noise.

The result was an excellent piece of documentary material.

Since then I have narrated the commentary for an episode of Wildlife SOS, a documentary aired on the Discovery Channel. I have also created and recorded an improvised theatre piece for The Wayfinder Experience in the USA as well as recording a number of studio pieces including a BBC News report, comedy & dramatic monologues and commercials.
