I started my voice over career doing radio imaging and announcing during college in 2007. I got hired as an on-air radio personality to 90.7 FM Michiana Classics, in a small town called Berrien Springs, MI. I played classical music every afternoon on-air, read commercials, talked to callers, and lead the quarterly fundraiser.
My formal education with voice acting starts during my early years in college. I took classes in Speech, Voice and Diction, and a couple of acting classes. I was also involved in a number of plays and musicals, often carrying lead speaking roles. I currently hold two bachelor's degrees and am on track to receive my M.B.A. next year. I am also an Edge Certified Voice Actor as of October 2017 through Edge Studio in New York. I am currently finishing up a broadcasting certification course at The Academy of Radio and Television.
I own a private home studio that includes; 1) Sterling Audio ST-66 tube condenser mic 2) Sennheiser e835 directional mic 3) Duet by Apogee audio interphase 4) 22-inch iMac desktop computer 5) Studio One audio editing software 6) Two 8-inch JBL studio monitors. I also frequent Voice Trax West in Studio City, CA when clients need extensive projects done and need to be patched in.
