My Voice Experience
Originally from California (the middle part of the state, not the northern or southern fancy parts), I started out studying classical theater and performance art in college in Los Angeles. Following school I began taking comedy improv classes at Improv Olympic in Hollywood and discovered that not only did I enjoy doing comedy, I was just maybe pretty darn good at it. I honed my skills doing professional jobs here and there, and also as a performer for four years at Disneyland.
In 2009 a sound editor friend suggested that I look into becoming a voice over artist. It sounded fun, so I started commuting to New York to train with Bruce and Marla at Marla Kirban Voiceover. I was in love. Shortly after completing my demo, life, love and babies put my voice over career on hold.
In 2014, I resolved and was determined to get my VO career started in earnest. I marched right back into Marla Kirban Voiceover for a refresher and some much needed encouragement.
Living in Philadelphia and starting a career in voice over in my little home studio is a place I never thought I would find myself in, but I have never been happier. I'm creative, funny, talented, sharp and have a commitment to working hard and delivering quality work. And I just maybe might be pretty darn good at this.
