Characters, accents, quick study, huge range
In my 8 years of experience as a stage actor, I have performed roles as varied as Horton the Elephant in "Seussical", Arvide in "Guys and Dolls", and Henry Higgins in "My Fair Lady." For the last one-and-a-half years, I have been receiving classical vocal training and private voice lessons at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB, both of which have given me a high degree of vocal control. I am also known for my exceptional range, having rehearsed for and participated in choral performances in both the tenor and bass sections.

I can impersonate a wide range of characters, for example Gollum (from The Lord of the Rings), the Joker (from the animated Batman series), Stewey (from "The Family Guy") and Audrey II in "Little Shop of Horrors." I am also known for my uncanny ability to assume a British accent, mannerisms and dialect, to the point that I was told I was "spot on" by a British dialect coach who was helping the cast of "My Fair Lady" prepare for our roles.
My Voice Experience
Since I am just now embarking on my voice over career, I do not yet have any professional experience in the field. I do, however, have a great deal of performance experience as a lead in various musical theater productions and as a member of the University Choir at Cal State Long Beach. I also learned a great deal about recording and editing multi-track audio projects when I produced an a capella record as my senior project in high school. Since that time, I performed the voice over for a recording on YouTube (http://youtu.be/WIOLfVSuxxE) and produced a number of podcasts on my own.
I have performed in numerous youth theater productions starting at age 11, including several at Millikan High School (in Long Beach) and one at Cal State Long Beach. I have also been involved in choral performance since my freshman year of high school, which has culminated in my acceptance to the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music as a Vocal Performance major, where I am currently receiving classical training in voice. At the Conservatory, I have also taken classes in music technology, diction, and piano, and to fulfill G.E. requirements I took an interpersonal communications class and I am currently taking an acting class.
My Studio Equipment
I own a Blu Snowball microphone with a pop filter and a Windows 7 laptop with Audacity. I am able to soundproof my room while recording. I also own an electric piano and an electric guitar that can be used for additional acoustic effects.
My last two "real jobs" have both required me to step outside of my comfort zone and "let it all hang out" for the world to see (and hear). The first was as a Liberty Tax "sign waver" ... yes, one of those guys dressed like Lady Liberty and making fools of themselves on street corners. The other, my current job, is as a games worker at Knotts Berry Farm, where I regularly go well beyond the call of duty by singing songs and raps I make up on the spot to attract customers. At church, I have been a member of a young adults choir for several months now, and I have been active for several summers in leading young children during musical performances at Vacation Bible School.
