My Voice Experience

Having worked as a traffic reporter, most of my voice work was geared towards the "professional" side of the business. However, by chance I was thrust into a position as the manager of a college radio station in 2005 and that is where I really began to branch out with my voice. During my time at KTRL-FM, I was helping students learn the ins and outs of broadcasting and was really responsible for filling a lot of the programming with promos, station IDs and underwriting spots that let me do some very creative things. I continued to use that creativity and copy writing experience at KEQX where I produced spots every week for broadcast. That helped me keep my audio editing and voice work skills in good standing. I have switched gears some back to the more "professional" side of broadcasting in the last year as I went back to traffic, but have kept doing some side voice work and hope to begin to expand back more into that area again.

My Training

Have worked in the broadcasting industry since 1995 as a traffic reporter, production engineer & radio station manager. All three have required heavy voice work related to on-air broadcasts, promos, commercials and more.

Graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Radio-TV-Film.

My Studio Equipment

Adobe Audition for all audio projects.
