Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Impersonations include most of Kristen Wiig's characters on Saturday Night live (Target Lady, Gilly, etc.), old timey actresses, Butters from South Park, and my grandpa. I also sing, and do various singing impersonations.

Accents and Dialects include Irish, English (Proper or Cockney), Russian, Southern/Country, Upper Midwestern/Fargo, New York, Poughkeepsie (like Adelaide from "Guys and Dolls"), and Latina.

Characterizations are my favorite, and I do a lot of my own originals like a creepy old lady named Louise, different kinds of kids, and a crazy rich lady. However, I love creating special characters for specific projects.

My Voice Experience

Radio: I have done a lot of voice work and impersonations for various stations. From Billy Gilman to Paula Deen to angry girlfriends.

TV: I have lots of experience acting in TV commercials for restaurants, car dealerships, and retail stores.

Theater: Besides acting in many plays and musical both regionally and through school (Eve in "Children of Eden", Mrs. Drudge in "The Real Inspector Hound", Sophia in "Fools", Pick-a-Little Lady in "The Music Man", and more), I also provided the voice for the Voice of Anne in "The Diary of Anne Frank".

My Training

Musical Theater BA from Columbia College Chicago (Including several voice classes; speaking and singing), 13 years of vocal music lessons, Second City Conservatory (Improv Comedy).

Additional Skills

I do a lot of work in Improv Comedy, as a member of WTF (Women That Fart) and the Second City Conservatory in Chicago. This helps with developing characters and thinking on my feet, which has proven to lead to some hilarious voice work!

I also play piano, ukelele, mandolin, and guitar. I have an ear for music as well as voices.

I have experience in jingle writing and performing, and I can do it quick! I also write and perform full blown songs with instrumental accompaniment; including parodies, comedic songs, and serious songs.
