About Camille

LocationNew York, NY, USA (GMT -4)
I am an opera singer. I have a very well trained, deep Baritone voice. As a voice specialist (16 yeras of professional opera singing), I can fluctuate the voice between chest and head voice to sound either younger or older. I can sound dramatic, agressive, lyric, romantic, passive, fun, etc. In short, being a stage person for so many years simply trained me to incorporate many different characters and personas.

Additional vocal abilities
I believe to have , what my friends call, an educated English accent. Just like learning music, however, I can adapt my accent to sound like an American, a russian, or even a Czek... My French is native, my Italian is very well trained and stems from a few years of learining it and living in Northern Italy. My Arabic comes from my mother's Lebanese origins.
Experience, training, and equipment
In short:
I recorded different types of jobs, going from company training mp3's, voice over works, to documentaries, to movie trailers, and finishing with lipsync-ing and movie dubbing.
In the US, the clients I recorded for are like CVS, Caterpillar, Toys Are Us, Budweiser...etc. Projects also included Hecules animation movie recording.
In Europe, I recorded training programs for banks like BNP Paribas, former Credit Lyonnais, and Credit Agricole. A few French movie trailers were also recorded for local French movies, and commercials for local companies.
In Arabic, my experience includes a video voice recording for a historic political figure in the country.
And finally, I do, and have done, simulataneous translation and interpretation jobs for recruiting firms and Bank Human Resources Departments where I monitored, assisted and trained Human resources personnel to hold recruiting sessions in English and Italian.
I hold a degree in Architecture and a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture.
I have a degree in Music. I have a 16-year opera singing and voice training, where using and projecting the sound in the most efficient way is key.
I have drama training and stage dance training as well that, beyond my professional experience, stems for 2 years of complementary drama class.
