About K.Bruce
Allow me to tell you a little bit about... well, me! I believe I have the talent and expertise to give you a wide range of voice types and styles from warm and homey to brash and hard-sell. I've done everything from bright and breezy commercials to technical presentations so complex that I had no idea what I was reading - but I made it work anyway!
I have enough experience to adapt my voice to whatever you need to bring your script to life. My performances have been described as natural, authentic, confident, conversational, trustworthy, sincere, relatable, as well as intimate, heartfelt, caring and calming, endearing, friendly, folksy, authoritative, charismatic, and classy.
At one time or another, I've been the guy next door, the old pal, the family doctor, the teacher, the student, the father, and the grandfather. I've been the British butler, the war-weary GI, the robot with a heart of gold, and the rootin’-tootin’ cowboy and his crusty old sidekick! I'm the young man in his 20’s and 30’s, the middle-ager in his 40’s and 50’s, and the senior retiree in his 60’s and beyond.
My vocal style is reminiscent of a John Krasinski, a John Corbett, or Jon Hamm, but at times I've been called upon to be as down-home as Sam Elliott, as sarcastic as Denis Leary, and as dignified as Donald Sutherland -- a virtual voice-over chameleon, if I do say so myself -- and I just did!
Most days, you’ll find me in my home studio, The Rouge Room, named for the red acoustic treatments that give my clients pristine, broadcast-ready audio for commercials & corporates, eLearning & explainers, audiobooks and animation, and everything in between. I'm prompt, professional, on budget, and on time, every time - less than 24 hours, if that's what you need.
My voice is heard across North America and around the world - Germany, Ireland, Malta, Singapore, and other ports of call - but you don’t have to go any further to reach me or listen to my demos. I look forward to hearing from you!

- Experience, training, and equipmentI've worked in media (although I’d hardly call it work) as a writer, producer, director, on-camera host, and, of course, voice actor. Versatile, inventive and very easy to work with (just ask anyone, including me!), I've recorded literally thousands of commercials, direct response ads, and promos; radio and television documentaries; corporate, industrial, whiteboard, and educational presentations; tutorials, explainers, e-learning and training programs; audiobooks, web videos, IVR prompts, and even on-hold messaging. I have also provided narration for documentary programs and series that have aired on national television networks in North America, including the History Channel and Discovery, as well as on television stations and networks around the world.
