Mature announcer, Resonant, Deep Pipes
I have been recording for more than 40 years for radio, television and live production. My voice is typical of the "announcer" style and I've done numerous styles of radio voice overs for financial institutions, hospitals, political campaigns and others.
Mine is a warm, yet authoritative voice - my narrations are more like stories and commercials more like advice from a mature friend.
While "high energy" is not my typical style, I can hold my own... but, my best work is in offering a warm, friendly voice of someone you'd trust for advice. The voice of a friend.
Character voices and accents are not a problem... within reason... if you're looking for a high voice, I'm not your man... my voice is low, resonant and deep in most cases. As a native Texan, if you're looking for that type of delivery, I've known it all my life.

My Voice Experience
My first job in radio was while in college in 1972... I was hired by KFJZ/KWXI (AM/FM) to write and produce commercials. My production included not only the copywriting and engineering, but voice-over as well. At the time, KFJZ was the Number 1 station in the Fort Worth market.
After college, I joined KXOL Radio and did both sales and production. The number two Top 40 station in the market, there was a lot of opportunity. Within a year, I moved to WFAA/KZEW - a 50K watt AM and the Number 1 Alternative FM station in Dallas...
I left the radio business to produce live shows and have travel globally for the past 40 years producing events all over the world... my voice over became more of a side line, but as I look toward retirement in a few years, it will eventually become my full time job. I'm now semi-retired.
