Though I can use my main speaking voice, my real talent is in my "bass" voice. Think the narrator in "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and that's basically how I sound.

My Voice Experience
None, I have not yet done any voice over work. I've played with my voice by reading things out loud for people but that's where my experience ends.
If you're interested in that, search "IAMA guy with a deep voice who will say whatever you want" and it should come up.
Haha, well, I never knew I had such a booming voice until I had my guitar stolen from my mother's car while registering for high school! When I found out, I was terrified because not only could I not afford another guitar but my only other options were art (I can't draw) and choir (I was a very shy person). I ended up choosing choir despite not having any experience.
My instructor was very nice. She must have saw potential in me because she never gave up on me. Eventually, I tapped into something inside of me that I didn't know was there. I was a bass in choir ever since and even sang "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch" for a solo.
Before I graduated and moved to California she told me that I shouldn't "close the door" on this and that "You have something not a lot of people have." so here I am.
My Studio Equipment
I only have a Shure PG58 microphone. Not the best but, you know, I am only just beginning.
Well I'm hard working and I'll jump at the opportunity to do something with my voice. I also take instructions well.
