I've channeled an English-Speaking Japanese Ninja character and scrappy female orphan turned Clown Commando, a Shakespearean Juliet, an Eleanor Roosevelt, Valley Girl and others as the opportunities arise. I am working on more characters that I'll upload as they develop.

My Voice Experience

During my career with Moroch Partners, a full service advertising, marketing and public relations firm, and as a commercial broadcast producer, I produced hundreds of radio and television commercials for local, regional and national clients including but not limited to: Oldsmobile, McDonald's, Midas, and DFW International Airport. I recorded voice-over scratch tracks for television, radio and non-broadcast mediums, gained experience in being included in casting and directing decisions for an amazing talent list like Dave Pasquesi and the late August Schellenberg for McDonald's and other clients, and eventually discovered my true passion lies in being on the “other side of the glass,” interpreting and communicating a brand or product’s message with my own voice skills and selling ability. I love voice-over acting and back in the day, loved Foley work too.

My Training

I hold a BFA degree in Advertising Design and Minor in Radio, Television and Film from the University of North Texas in Denton. Initial training in casting and directing voice-over and on-camera talent I learned on the job as a commercial broadcast producer. I was advised in July 2013 by Voice Actor Alex Verde on being a voice-over entrepreneur and then attended a voice-over class on the business of voice-over entrepreneurship conducted by Voice Actor Tom Dheere, a script dissection workshop through the Dallas Voice Actors Meetup Group under guidance of Cliff Zellman, and I'm getting daily coaching and mentoring from voice actor Linda O'Brian. I plan to do volunteering at the Dallas Reading Radio Resource Center recording audio books for the blind to develop myself in that category.

My Studio Equipment

Adobe Audition CC and Protools 10. AKG 414 microphone.

Additional Skills

I have 25 years diverse knowledge and experience in Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations at one full service advertising, marketing and public relations firm, Moroch Partners, Inc. I specifically spent the start of my career after college in 1985 learning how to be a commercial producer and eventually headed up the Broadcast department there until 2004. Then I moved teams to be the Creative Business Manager from 2004 until 2007 learning more about Print and Interactive Production and recruiting for creative. I then moved departments into Human Resources and did my final tour as a Recruiter/HR Generalist/Employee Relations Administrator until April 2013. I had a life epiphany in July 2013 when I determined to return to voice-over acting, which I love so much, but this time try my hand as an entrepreneur.
