Voice Description

I am a vocalist by trade and so can malipulate my voice from a warm and full throaty, deep and husky sound to a high pitched, thin sound. I specialise in imaginative character voices, but also can do accents from a well spoken presentation voice to a fun, highly musical voice.I enjoy childrens character voice work but can also narrate and present a professional script.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can imitate most accents once I have studied them.My own accent is slight Birmingham, although I can have a straight accent and also do most Southern or northern accents too.I'm a performer and so my impressions have alot of expression and character to them if that is what's required, although I can use my voice for professional presentation also. I am a trained vocalist and so know how to manipulate my voice to have a full low sound or a high, thin sound.I like to have fun with my characters and have a wide range.

My Voice Experience

I have been a vocalist for 20 yrs and have a husky, low voice. I have a good capacity to change the sound and dynamics of my voice. My experience mostly covers live and recorded performance work as a vocalist but I have performed as an actress and artist also. I am a highly creative and imaginative performer, and like to create new characters, especially within childrens fantasy.
