Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am fluent in he lebanese dialect, classical arabic and broad arabic for GCC broadcast. I recorded number of commercials in english with a soft middle eastern accent for clients who request it. I'm also fluent in french.

I recorded countless radio ads and TVCs as well as animatics, corporate narrations and IVRs. I can perform as an announcer MVO and can take on many characters like a sales person in a lebanese dialogue, a sportsman shouting in a field, a singer engaging with his fans, a father talking to his kid, a parrot, a cow or an automatic answering machine.

My Voice Experience

I visited Zurich Switzerland lately for a 5 days recording session for a TTS project (text to speech technology in arabic, an all time first). After a worldwide selection process, my voice was chosen for the task.

I've been recording a number of IVRs for banks, and i'm also the main VO on the safety and facility videos on board all Emirates Airline flights.

I started as a gap filler for an urgent job in Beirut where the intended talent canceled at the last minute. The sound engineer back then recognized my skill and later many other producers came to know my voice and asked me to do more jobs. As i moved to Dubai, i quickly acquainted myself with local studios and sent demos to various sound recording producers. I gained a reputation as both a creative talent able to direct himself and a VO artist flexible for many applications. My client portfolio include L'Oreal, Garnier, Coca-Cola, Nissan, Chevrolet, Lux, Nakheel real estate, Mercedes, Baskin Robins and Emirates Airline. Today, my typical schedule requires that i manage my time to record in many studios in one afternoon then come back to do my video editing work. Sometimes this means working late nights to compensate.

My Training

Specialized in video post-production, i understand timing like no other. I can adapt easily with speed, pace and momentum without hurting the delivery intonation. My cinematography diploma allowed me to engage with many artists in the field like actors, directors, producers and script writers. That itself offered a huge advantage for my learning curve as i experienced first hand the thin line between creativity and client needs. For my current job i sometimes direct other VO artists in order to edit their voice track in my editing studio later.

My Studio Equipment

I currently work with my macbook pro laptop connected to a Fast Track M-audio mixer and a Solaris large diaphragm microphone protected with a pop filter. I use Protools for mac for editing and delivery.

Additional Skills

On the other side i have developed a fond fascination for photography and collected a decent size stock collection that i posted on my website. Laterally i'm a big fan of latin music especially Salsa, am a social salsa dancer and a latin DJ and have a dedicated website.
Professionally i'm a non-linear video editor and producer.
