Zanetta Doyle

I have narrated two videos for my current employer, the National Association of development Organizations (NADO). The first was the 40th anniversary video for the organization, in which I also produced, and the second was a transportation-related video produced by NADO and its partner the Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations, which asked viewers to encourage their congressional representatives to push for funding to make the nation's highways safer. I am currently working with Indigo Communications, a local production company in producing the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church's Centennial video. I have also been selected to narrate this video. B.A. Mass Media of Arts with a concentration in Print Journalism, University of the District of Columbia, Washington, DC, Cum Laude, 1993 Master of Arts Journalism and Public Affairs/Interactive Journalism, American Univesity, Washington, D.C., 2007 Took an acting class the final year of my undergraduate studies, which helped to develop my impromptu skills. Took a broadcasting class during my graduate studies at American University in which we had to go out into the field and conduct interviews, report the story, provide voiceover for the package, as well as edit and package the final story. My professor for this class, Jill Olmstead worked as a broadcast journalist for years and encouraged me to pursue a career in radio and/or voiceovers. I am a good writer and editor and can offer copywriting assistance. In my current position as communications manager for NADO, one of my responsibilities is writing and editing numerous reports that we try to incorporate a more human interest feel. This ability will be very useful when developing copy for commercials, documentaries and PSAs.
