Zack's versatility as a voice talent is very broad. From the casual, "guy next door" voice to the dramatic baritone found in most movie trailers, Zack does it all to a high degree of authenticity. It's very easy to confuse his voice with other famous voice talents such as Hal Douglas or Don Lafontaine and is regularly compared to them. However, that doesn't stop him from capitalizing on his natural sense of pitch to produce an array of sincere, authentic voices.

My Voice Experience

I started pursuing a career as a voice-over artist, speficially doing movie trailers, almost a year ago when I discovered that I could produce the same voice as famous voice talent Don Lafontaine. From there, I practiced and rehearsed various different styles of voice acting that I recognized to be standards in the industry of voice acting.

As far as getting hired and paid for my voice acting, I have no experience. However, I have a great deal of experience in recording scripts that I've written from my home studio and editing that in with footage.

My Training

I first learned how to use my voice years ago when I began vocal training as a singer. After a few years of studying performing music (as both a singer and a drummer) and after growing up a little bit, I realized that I was capable of producing similar voices to Don Lafontaine or Hal Douglas. I studied their distinct enunciation and diction and after a solid year of practicing, recording from my home studio, and making fake movie trailers, I'm 100% confident I can start a career in voice acting. Since the beginning of the year, I've managed to acquire an entire home studio for recording and mixing drums, guitars, keys, as well as vocals, providing me with plenty of production experience.

Additional Skills

Training as a singer really has benefited me as a voice actor. The training I received really taught me to comfortably achieve control over my tone and such. I also am a bit of a gear head and am always staying current with the newest technology and methods of recording.
