Voice Description
My singing and speaking voice has been compared many times to Johnny Cash.
For narrations and commercials I convey deep and warm qualities and can add an intense "edge" when necessary.
I have a very animated side as well, capable of imitating various cartoon characters.
Over the years I've also created my own comedic characters using both low and high voice characteristics.
I can also do Country, British, Indian and Arabic accents.

My Voice Experience
I once scripted and did the voice over work for "Wetlands", an adult novelty store in Amelia, OH which was very comedic and fun.
I've also done an onhold music message for Willis Music Co. in Florence, KY
My Training
In 1991 I graduated from the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, OH where I studied drama, instrumental music, and voice.
I performed in the school's musical theater project and toured the U.S. in a production of "Oliver Twist" where I portrayed three different characters. I also appeared in a production of Fellini's musical "NINE" in New York.
My overall voice training comes from my near twenty years of live performance as an actor and musician.
My Studio Equipment
Tascam 488 8-Track studio.
Shure Beta 58A and 57 Microphones
Shure KSM 27 Studio Microphone.
Tascam CD Recorder for mixdown.
Additional Skills
I was greatly influenced by movie trailer voice over work and radio personalities such as Don Lafontaine, who was a huge influence on my desire to do movie trailers.
I've also taken many cues from old radio programs such as Night Beat, The Green Hornet, The Great Gildersleeve, and so on.
In addition to immitating characters from these great shows I was influenced to create my own characters.
Being a musician I've done several radio interviews and have been told I have a great "radio voice".
