My Voice Experience

I launched my professional career without using an agency for representation. I have booked several paying jobs for companies including: Lasneski Productions for the "Hufa Holder" radio spot, Radio Spirits - multiple spots, TomCat Films in LA, CA (18 movie trailers), Rainer Cvillink, LA, CA for Mozilla, Diem International Stafford, TX for "Repeal It Now", HEB Grocery Stores San Antonio, TX, New North Sound Portland, OR, Advaiya, Kirkland, WA, Noble Vision Group, Tigard, OR, Delta Life Sciences, Portland, OR, Paragon Biotech, Eugene, OR. Also, I voiced Kahana, the Tiki Idol for a children's show pilot produced by Bill Thyen.

I have volunteered my voice at several Senior Centers in the Portland area and enjoy reading to the elderly. Also, I volunteer at several preschools reading stories to children.

My Training

I graduated from Pepperdine University in 1995 with a degree in Communication and an emphasis in Public Relations. I have been studying at the Voicetrax Studio under the direction of Samantha Paris for over two years and have taken classes with titles like: Intro to Voice Acting 1 & 2, Simply Acting 1 & 2, Creating Characters, Next Steps, Intro to Narration, Narration Bootcamp, Advanced Narration, Colors of your voice, etc. I have been told my voice has a broad range, great for anything from animated characters to long narration pieces. I have mastered a program called Twisted Wave, which allows me to record and edit my own work. It was a long process, but one that I enjoyed very much. Currently, I enjoy taking online classes at the Edge Studio and participate in their weekly auditions.

My Studio Equipment

I use a MacBook Pro along with a standard sound board, a Yeti mic and a program called Twisted Wave to capture and edit my work.

Additional Skills

I have been in Health Information Technology sales and account management for the past 17 years and have a broad knowledge of Corporate America. I am also an avid water lover. I played collegiate Division I water polo and have a working knowledge of all professional sports. I dedicate an average of 1 hour per day to practicing my craft. Also, I have two young daughters and a beautiful wife, which gives me a great perspective on family life. I have been marred for 14 years and have finally found my calling, career wise!
