I am most often used to record voicemail systems, and some public service announcements and commercials, so my voice has a more "Qwest Operator" quality. I have a soothing voice that could be sexy, but also akin to adult contemporary radio host. I have also been told it is smooth and professional. Voice range is 25- 45 years old.

My Voice Experience
Voiceover has always been a side job and passion. I began recording voicemail systems in the 90s, and have been successful at that. I have always been told I have a great voice - and am in sales - so I use it often. I also do vo for commercials for the City of Edina, and for DVD narratives (corporate videos) My husband and I have a side business (he is digital video production) so we work well together - I tend to do the v/o - he does the filming and editing.
My Training
I have not had any formal training, although I am articulate and college educated. I was a bass player for many years and I guess, my job in National Advertising sales lends itself somewhat to the whole acting thing :) I guess I was just blessed with a nice voice.
My Studio Equipment
When not in a studio, we use a Rode NT1A and a Mackie 802-VLZ3, and process though Final Cut and Sound Track Pro
Additional Skills
Having been a writer and editor, I do have an innate sense of cadence and timing. I am very much into semantics, typically offering changes to a script that can accentuate the recording (if there is flexibility)
